Booking, payment, cancellation, delivery, and prints, in plain language.

These terms are between you and anjafio, which is Andrew Fiore, a sole proprietor working in Worcester County, Massachusetts. Using this site or booking a session means you accept them.
When you book, you also sign a session agreement covering the photo release and assumption of risk. Where a signed session agreement differs from this page, the signed agreement is what governs your session. This page is here so you can read the commercial terms before you commit to anything.

A deposit holds your date, and it comes off your total rather than being an extra charge. Your date is not held until the deposit is paid.
The remaining balance is due before your full gallery is edited and delivered. A sneak peek of a few favorites reaches you within 48 hours of the session, so you can see the work is underway before the balance is settled.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered with Stripe and never reach me or this site.
Sessions outside Worcester are priced by mileage. The exact travel cost is quoted to you before you pay a deposit, so nothing is a surprise, and it is collected with the final payment rather than with the deposit.
Plans change, and that is fine.
Each session begins and ends at its booked time, so arriving late shortens the session rather than extending it. If you miss the session, or arrive more than thirty minutes late without letting me know, the deposit is lost.
If something unexpected comes up, reach out. I will work with you wherever I can.
Outdoor sessions move for rain or worse at no cost. We pick a new date together, or step into the studio instead if you would rather not wait.
Your gallery stays online for at least a year after delivery. Please save your photographs somewhere safe while it is up, because after a year I cannot promise it will still be there.
The finished images are yours to keep, print, and share for your own life. They never expire and there are no extra fees to use your own photographs.
I keep the copyright in the photographs, as photographers normally do, and you keep a personal use license covering printing and sharing your own files with family and friends. What that license does not cover is reselling the images, licensing them to a business, or entering them in competitions as your own work. If you want to use your photographs commercially, just ask me.
Please do not crop out a watermark where one is present, or apply filters that materially change the edit and then present the result as my work.
Your photographs are private by default and are shown publicly only with your written permission. The photo release, together with an assumption of risk, is signed online from your client area any time before your gallery opens, or in person on the day of your session.
Every adult who is photographed signs for themselves and chooses Yes or No to public use of their own photographs. That choice covers social media, this website, my portfolio, printed samples, and marketing. You may withdraw a Yes later by writing to me, and I will stop new public use within a reasonable time. I cannot recall something already printed or already shared onward by someone else.
For anyone under eighteen, and for any adult whose decisions are handled by a parent, legal guardian, conservator, health care proxy, or someone acting under a power of attorney, that representative signs and makes one choice covering everyone in their care at the session. Signing confirms they hold that authority. If the authority changes or ends, tell me in writing and I will update the sharing settings to match.
You are responsible for supervising any child or dependent person throughout the session, and you confirm that everyone in your care is well enough to take part.
If you add film to a session, you keep the untouched original scan of every frame as well as my edits.
Film is film, and now and then a roll does not come back right. You are covered:
Prints are made by hand on premium paper and checked sheet by sheet before they leave. A protective finish is included at no extra cost. Matte or glossy is your choice, made by email after you order, once you can see your photographs.
Because prints are made to order for you, they are not returnable simply because you changed your mind. If a print arrives damaged, or it is not what you ordered, tell me and I will reprint it or refund it. Reach me within a reasonable time of delivery so I can sort it out while the order is still traceable.
Your digital files are delivered electronically and are not taxed. Any sales tax that applies to prints is shown at checkout.
Please use the site for its purpose: looking at photographs, booking a session, and managing your own booking. Please do not attempt to reach another client's gallery or account, scrape the photographs, or interfere with the site's operation. The photographs on this site are not licensed for reuse, and this site asks automated systems not to collect its images. That policy is published at ai.txt.
An account is optional. You are responsible for keeping your password and any gallery link you are sent to yourself, since a gallery link may be all that stands between your photographs and whoever holds it.
If you find a security problem, please report it. There is an address at security.txt.
I carry out every session with care, and if something goes wrong I would rather fix it than argue about it. In practical terms, and to the extent the law allows, my responsibility for any single session or order is limited to what you paid for it, which may mean a reshoot, a repair, or a refund.
Nothing here is meant to limit any right you have that cannot be limited by agreement, and nothing here excludes responsibility for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
If I change these terms, the date at the top changes, and clients with an active booking are told directly rather than the page being quietly edited. The terms that apply to your session are the ones in force when you booked it.
